Bridger hit puberty and grew a nice goatee.

Since the little man was feeling better today we spent
some quality time outside....

shooting some serious hoops,...

kicking dirt around the tree,...

throwing "helicopters" in the air,...

and smiling at momma through the fence.

Honestly, the best thing about summer.

Guess what Bridger's favorite thing at Ada's house was?

Bridger was fascinated with my friend Aarin's new little girl.
He was very gentle and kept quietly saying "oh, cute." I am

not ashamed to say he melted my heart. He wasn't quite

sure what he thought of the whole crying thing, but he

was still talking about "baby Mia" after dinner....

We had a busy morning! We started out the day at Sip n' Kranz.

It is a local coffee shop that has an area for little ones where they

can draw on chalkboards, jump in pillows, or push empty tiny

strollers around with nothing in them (this is what Bridger spent

much of his time doing).

Then right outside of the coffee shop is Jameson fountain.

It is a fountain made for young children to play in on

nice days. Bridger had a blast. He and Scout could have

stayed there for the whole day if their tired selves hadn't

caught up with them.

We got the charger and charged up the good old camera just in time for sleeping shots. Goodness do we love this little guy...

As Bridger would say "careful, careful..." Hopefully tomorrow the new charger will be here because we are running out of photos.

I honestly think the uneven bars may be his event...

Bridger running down the "runway" at gymnastics to get to the vault. Boy does he love the "gym." It is 45 minutes long. He starts out with gusto and by the end is exhausted. Today he had to nap before he could eat lunch! We actually have a blast too. FYI our camera battery is deader than a doornail and our charger is missing in action. There is a new one on the way, but it won't get here until Tuesday, so there will be 2 days without photos. But we will be back full force when the camera gets some juice. Actually, I may post a couple extra gymnastic photos...

Nora and Ada came over for a visit today. Things went pretty well except the little man was not into sharing. Pretty much everything Ada picked up, Bridger wanted to steal. He mellowed a bit by the end and a fine time was had by all.

Scout and Bridger sharing some love at the Children's Museum. Bridger had a great time. I think his favorite part was the concert. Oh and for the record, the little man loves to rush the stage.


I also have to mention that it hailed and stormed today. Loud, hard, angry hail and the best part is that it was accompanied by thunder! I love thunderstorms and have missed them so much since we moved out here, so it was a lovely surprise (the hail caused no damage).

We have started a very important chapter in a young man's life...the potty!!! At this point Bridger is not sure what he thinks about this new thing. He will, on occasion, sit on it clothed and say "potty,""poop," or "pee." But is not into sitting on it naked. We are doing our best not to freak him out, but plan on having him fully trained by the weekend. ;)
